BlueScope Steel Launches New BER Micro Site
30 November 2009
BlueScope Steel has launched a new micro site specifically developed for designers, architects and builders working on Building Education Revolution (BER) projects.
This year, the Australian Federal Government announced that it would inject A$14.7 billion into the BER Stimulus Package over the next three years. The new micro site will be an invaluable resource for designers, architects and builders as it provides a wealth of information on BlueScope Steel products including COLORBOND® steel, ZINCALUME® steel, GALVASPAN® steel and TRUECORE® steel in line with BER priorities.
It also includes guidelines to on how to meet BER priorities, accurate specification tools to assist in choosing the correct steel products for BER projects, information on thermal performance to help keep Australian classrooms cooler, assistance in matching COLORBOND® steel colours and warranty assistance for both BER projects and clients. Supplier information and a handover maintenance kit for schools can also be downloaded from the site.
BlueScope Steel building solutions can help create BER projects that are economically and environmentally sustainable. As steel is both lightweight and strong, it offers the creative freedom and design flexibility to create multi-use buildings for all to enjoy. Speed of construction, cost-efficiency, thermal performance and durability are just some of the benefits of working with products made by BlueScope Steel.
