Coolroom Panels
COLORBOND® Permagard® steel has been specially developed for the manufacture of coolroom panels.
Its baked on paint finish resists peeling, flaking and blistering in normal weather conditions, and features an antibacterial property that provides excellent benefits for the food industry.
What's a coolroom panel?
Insulated panels for cold storage and other temperature controlled environments typically comprise two sheets of COLORBOND® Permagard® steel adhered to an inner foam core.
The core can be either expanded polystyrene or polyurethane, depending on the application or the design requirement.
These panels are manufactured by specialist producers across Australia using continuous forming equipment to create a rigid panel (although non load bearing).
Panel thicknesses range from 50mm to 200mm.
